It started as a fourteen year old building worlds and writing stories about them. Stories that, whilst the world felt full and rich, never had a chance to find completion because I was writing forcefully and without a plan.
I studied communication, branding and story at university and landed an absolute dream job as a producer and brand strategist/communication officer. I still do this job full time and I love it…
…but characters from my writing kept reminding me they were there, just waiting for me to finish their story.
I had to learn how to write with my energy, not against it (especially with a full time job), for my character’s sake and for mine.
Let me show you how.
Kindness is how we make the world a better place. The ability to respectfully listen to a new perspective, the chance to brighten someone’s day with a small act of consideration, the prospect of sharing stories, ideas and views to provide the world with something new or to heal it… kindness is the most underrated yet powerful tool we have.
Always remain curious and be courageous in the pursuit of your dreams. I know I still struggle with this one. But the more open you are to new ideas, opportunities, knowledge and understanding, the further you will go.
I strive for excellence in every project I collaborate in. But I also believe: Progress Over Perfection. I believe in taking action now, do the best I can with what skills and knowledge I have now, whilst always endeavouring to learn more and and keep practicing my creations so that the work I offer is always of the highest standard. With this in mind, I am now changing my vocabulary by replacing ‘perfection’ with ‘excellence’
I’m always looking for ways to be kinder to our planet, so much so that I’m truly researching ways on how to operate my company in a carbon positive way. In order to achieve this we plant trees with every purchase made across Kynd Foxes platforms. And I’m always looking for more ways to contribute, right down to the products that I use in my day-to-day.
Open and honest conversations are how we make this world a better place, as the more we understand each other the better we can treat each other. Kindness creates unity.
There is enough for everyone. Read that again. There is enough for everyone. There is enough in this digital space (and our physical ones) to go around and so I will not gate-keep my knowledge, but be as honest and transparent as possible, cheering you on every step of the way.
